Chapter I

Workflow mapping

Before any tool, a map.

Chess piece

What the map shows

We sit with the people who do the work and write down each step: who starts it, what they need, where it waits and where it goes next. The result is a one-page map anyone on the team can read.

Only then do we look for the places where an AI helper could take on repetitive steps.

The mapping sessions

  1. 01

    Listen

Short conversations with the people who do the work.

  2. 02

    Draw

A simple map of every step and handoff.

  3. 03

    Mark

Circle the slow spots and repeat work.

  4. 04

    Choose

Pick one or two places to start.
